ClearWellness is a proactive wellness and lifestyle management service that pairs seniors with Certified Health and Wellness Coaches. Together, they develop personalized plans to maintain independence and a better quality of life. By supporting holistic wellness, the service provides a greater sense of safety and security for seniors and their caregivers.

ClearWellness is a subsidiary of ClearCaptions, a leader in phone captioning services for those with hearing loss.

Our ClearCaptions roots

Our parent company, ClearCaptions, has been a leading provider of innovative call captioning services since 2011. These services for the hard-of-hearing have enabled more than 500,000 seniors to stay connected with friends and family, enhancing their quality of life in countless ways.

Robert Rae

President & CEO

With over 30 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, and consumer service businesses, Robert Rae is the driving force behind ClearWellness and ClearCaptions. His strong passion fuels these services, aimed at empowering seniors to live more independent lives through innovative technology. In 2017, Rae led the separation of ClearCaptions from Purple Communications, where he served as the CEO of both companies. Previously, he held roles such as President and COO of Academic Partnerships, Chief Innovation Officer at Mosaic Sales Solutions, and Executive VP of Securus Technologies. Rae’s commitment to excellence continues to shape industries and improve lives.

Clint Clardy

Vice President of Sales

With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and medical device sectors, Clint Clardy brings extensive sales expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset to ClearWellness. Before joining the company, Clardy founded Salus Genetics, a precision healthcare company acquired in 2017. He also spent five years at Stryker Leibinger, and 15 at Synthes Orthopedic Trauma, where he gained valuable sales leadership experience. Clardy has a proven track record with healthcare technology, consistently delivering strong sales performance and driving innovation. He is known for his ability to motivate teams and drive growth through his vision and dedication.

With over 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) focused on complex care and senior medicine, Melissa Rose brings compassion and in-depth industry knowledge to ClearWellness’ services. Her career has centered on providing exceptional support, companionship, and building connections through technology-enabled care. At ClearWellness, she leads teams in developing personalized wellness plans tailored to each senior’s unique needs and goals. Melissa’s aim is to empower seniors to live more independent and fulfilling lives by combining technology with human interaction.

With over 10 years in the field of Aging and Technology (AgeTech), Keri Vogtmann brings to ClearWellness a tireless commitment to improving the quality of life for older adults and caregivers through innovative solutions. She has served as a staunch advocate for innovation as an Aging2.0 Chapter Ambassador and an influential Adult & Aging Commissioner for Sacramento County. Her illustrious career comprises many director-level roles in healthcare IT, user experience research, and design agencies. Her dynamic background helps fuel ClearWellness’ innovation and elevates user experiences to new heights of excellence.

With over 15 years dedicated to healthcare, and experience driving sales success across companies like AT&T, Flextronics, Nextel, and Pitney Bowes, Jerry Livingston provides proven leadership to fuel ClearWellness’ upward trajectory. Previously the Director of Sales and Operations and Western US Sales Director at ClearWellness’ parent company, ClearCaptions, Livingston has also held pivotal roles like National Retail Development Director at Merge Technologies and North America VP of Sales at Global Club Card.
