Together, they develop personalized plans to maintain independence and a better quality of life. By supporting holistic wellness, the service provides a greater sense of safety and security for seniors and their caregivers.
ClearWellness is a subsidiary of ClearCaptions, a leader in phone captioning services for those with hearing loss.
Our ClearCaptions roots
Our parent company, ClearCaptions, has been a leading provider of innovative call captioning services since 2011. These services for the hard-of-hearing have enabled more than 500,000 seniors to stay connected with friends and family, enhancing their quality of life in countless ways.

With over 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) focused on complex care and senior medicine, Melissa Rose brings compassion and in-depth industry knowledge to ClearWellness’ services. Her career has centered on providing exceptional support, companionship, and building connections through technology-enabled care. At ClearWellness, she leads teams in developing personalized wellness plans tailored to each senior’s unique needs and goals. Melissa’s aim is to empower seniors to live more independent and fulfilling lives by combining technology with human interaction.

With over 20 years of experience across sales and leadership roles, Gary Gallagher brings valuable expertise and skill to ClearWellness. His diverse track record of success includes working with startups as well as market leaders such as PointClickCare and WellSky. At these companies, Gallagher played an instrumental role in driving results and helping operators adopt disruptive technologies that enhanced safety, reduced liability, improved resident experiences, and boosted financial performance.

With 25 years of senior leadership experience, Gary brings extensive expertise in tech-enabled health and social care services to ClearWellness. His work focuses on delivering compassionate care solutions to seniors, caregivers, and disadvantaged populations while guiding companies through growth and transformation. As President & CEO of Confluence Health Services, he drove commercial development in value-based care, digital health, and diagnostics. Gary has held C-level roles in in-home health, virtual care management, and senior care, working with organizations like Care.com and the National Council on Aging. He has also collaborated with leading managed care brands such as United Healthcare and Centene to improve care access and promote independence for seniors and vulnerable populations.
